Early Bird FAQ

What is a Super Early Bird?
For girls:  
Every girl renewed by May 1, 2019, will have the chance to win a Colorado family staycation!* Your girl can take charge and plan the family fun this summer. Explore this amazing state, enjoy quality family time,  try something new together!

*up to $500 value, must be used by Sept. 30, 2019. Winner will be notified on May 6.

For troops: 
Every troop with two troop leaders and at least three girls renewed by May 1, 2019, will have the chance to win passes to a GSCO event! Six lucky troops (one from each region) will win event passes to a GSCO event of their choice for up to 20 girl and adult participants.**

All troops renewed by June 26 will receive $25 in GSCO shop credit and early bird patches for girls and troop leadership

**must be redeemed by Sept. 30, 2020.


Who is eligible for the Early Bird incentives?
Any girl renewed by June 26, 2019 for the 2019-20 membership year will receive an Early Bird patch. Any troop that has completed the Annual Troop Report for this membership year and has two, unrelated Troop Leadership Team members renewed by June 26, 2018 will receive a $25 credit to the Girl Scouts of Colorado Shop.
 
What is the Early Bird registration deadline this year?
June 26, 2019
The Super Early Bird deadline is May 1, 2019
  
When will the Early Bird patches be delivered?
Patches will be mailed to a girls’ families by the week of August 15, 2019. Ensure that we have your correct address by logging into Member Profile and checking out the Family Profile tab.
 
When will the Shop credit be available for use?
Credit will be available no later than August 15, 2019 and may be redeemed on orders placed by phone or in person at our GSCO shop. There will be no charge for shipping on these orders.
 
Are Juliette girls eligible for Early Bird incentives?
Juliette girls are eligible for the patch incentive and girl Super Early Bird contest. Only troops can be issued shop credit and be entered in the troop Super Early Bird contest.
 
What if I have additional girls register after the Early Bird deadline. Can I get a patch for them as well?
Limited quantities may be available for purchase at the Girl Scouts of Colorado Shop after the Early Bird renewal period ends.
 
How do I renew my troop’s registration?
Log onto myGS, our Girl Scout Member Profile at https://gsmembers.force.com/members/login or select Member Profile from the yellow myGS icon on www.girlscoutsofcolorado.org.  Once you are logged in navigate to the Troops tab. Choose the troop you’re renewing, select “Next Year.” Choose the girls and adults that you want to renew, and follow the payment instructions. Contact your Volunteer Support Specialist with additional questions.  Families renewing should contact inquiry@gscolorado.org with additional questions.
