Outdoor Adventure Club registration FAQs

How do I register for an OAC event?
OAC registers through our CampInTouch system.
 
If you have a CampInTouch account:

  1. Log in to your CampInTouch account at https://girlscoutsco.campintouch.com/v2/login.aspx.
  2. On the main menu, click on the Camper Application.
  3. Select 2020 in the season selection screen.
  4. Select your child’s name and click Begin Application.
  5. In the session selection screen, click on Show Sessions under Outdoor Adventure Club.
  6. Check the box next to the option for which you would like to register (if there is only one option for that month, select that option).
  7. On the family information screen, ensure that all fields are completed with correct information, and click Continue.
  8. If the event is an overnight event, and your child would like to be paired with a buddy, enter one name in the Buddy Request field and hit Continue. For a buddy request to be accommodated, both families must input the buddy’s name in this field. If it is a day event, or your child does not have a buddy for that event, leave the field blank and click Continue.
  9. To secure your spot, you will need to pay the registration fee. Under Payment Schedule for Balance select Pay with Credit Card in CampInTouch. Select Credit Card under What form of payment will you use for the deposit?
    • If you have a saved credit card on file, you will be prompted to use your saved credit card. If you do not have a saved credit card on file, click on the Add a credit card and enter your card information on the pop-up, and hit Save Card. You can also Add a credit card to pay with a different card or update an expired or compromised card.
    • If you have Cookie Credits that you would like to use you will need to pay your balance in full and then submit the Cookie Credit reimbursement form. Please see below with more information on paying with Cookie Credits.
  10. On the final page, review and accept the Terms and Conditions, and submit the application and your payment.
     
 
If you do not have a CampInTouch account or you are unsure if you have a CampInTouch account:
  1. Go to our “Camper Application” at https://girlscoutsco.campintouch.com/ui/forms/application/camper/App. Fill out the required information on the first page with your name and information to create your CampInTouch account.
  2. If you already have a CampInTouch account, a pop-up screen will alert you that you have an account, and ask you for your password to log in. If you have forgotten your password, you may click on the “email a reset account invitation” link, or call (877) 404-5708, and a Customer Care Specialist or Registration Specialist can assist you with resetting your password.
  3. Select 2020 in the season selection screen. Enter your child’s name and information and click Begin Application.
  4. In the session selection screen, click on “Show sessions” under Outdoor Adventure Club.

  10. Once you have completed this process, if you will be registering for another event or participant, follow the steps listed above in the “If you have a CampInTouch account” section of this document to complete the next registration.
 
What are the registration timelines for an OAC event?
Event registration will open two months prior to the event. At that time, you may secure your space by paying  the registration fee. Once registered, all required forms and waivers will be located in your Forms & Documents section of your CampInTouch account. Registration closes two weeks prior to the event, and at that time all required forms are due

Can I receive a refund if I can no longer go to the event, or if my daughter is sick?
If you cancel prior to two weeks before an event, you will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing fee. If you cancel with less than two-weeks notice before an event you will not receive a refund. If you must cancel due to illness, we will refund your total registration fee minus a $5 cancellation fee. Girl Scouts of Colorado reserves the right to request a doctor’s note.
 
 
How can I apply for a grant for an OAC event?
Between 8 weeks and 3 weeks prior to event, families can fill out the opportunity grant form to request a grant (https://www.girlscoutsofcolorado.org/en/for-volunteers/forms-and-resources/opportunity.html). Note: families can not apply for a grant any later than 3 weeks prior to event. Within a week of submission, families will hear from GSCO alerting them of the grant amount and how to proceed in registration.
 
Applying for a grant does not register you for the event or hold your space. Please submit your grant request as early as possible. If you are concerned about securing your space, you can register for the event and pay the fee in full, and if you are awarded the grant it will be given to you as a refund. If the grants end up not being enough, we will refund you in full.

How can I use Cookie Credits to pay for an OAC event?
In order to use Cookie Credits to pay for an OAC event, families will need to pay for the event in full, and will then complete our Cookie Credit reimbursement form at https://www.girlscoutsofcolorado.org/content/girlscoutsofcolorado/en/for-volunteers/forms-and-resources/credit-reimbursement0.html. You will need a copy of your invoice showing your balance paid in full when submitting the reimbursement form, which can be found in your CampInTouch account in the “Financial Management” section. Cookie Credit reimbursements will be processed within two weeks of submitting, and the funds will be directly sent to your bank account.
 
 
How do I use discounts for an OAC event?
We have two discounts available:
 
First OAC session discount: Participants will get 10% their first OAC session of the year. Enter the discount code OACFirst10 in the promo box when completing your registration in CampInTouch.
 
Multi-session discount: Attend four OAC sessions and get $25 off your 5th session. Discount will be automatically applied upon registering for your 5th session of the year.
 
 
Can my child attend more than one of each session?
Your child is welcome to attend as many OAC events as they would like, however when multiple options of an event are offered the programming and schedule for each event will be the exact same. We recommend a girl only attend one option of each event.
 
 
How do I change my child’s registration?
You can change your child’s registration up to two weeks prior to an event. If your initial dates will no longer work for you, please email inquiry@gscolorado.org with the name of your child, the dates you initially registered for, and the dates you would like. Your registration will be changed no cost.

What forms will be required for my child’s participation in the Outdoor Adventure Club?
Families must complete forms for their child before they will be allowed to participate in Outdoor Adventure Club events. All required forms can be found in the Forms and Documents section in your CampInTouch account. Most forms will only need to be completed once for the full Outdoor Adventure Club year. Some additional forms may be required for specific events.
